For this #ThursdayFoodForSould I want to write about the power of art & creativity to heal yourself and/or to create some newness in your life when you feel stuck. Creativity & art are a way to give personal meaning to your personal experience. They also allow you to express your vision and who you are. Maybe you know it already, I have a passion for art and lifestyle and I’m a very creative person. Almost three years ago, I’ve founded L’Eclectique Magazine to start designing a life I love and to encourage talents from the world who have chosen to lead a creative living. I love creative people because they are brave enough to share some expression of their soul and put a lot of energy in their artworks. I believe that creative living is for the brave because it often takes a lot to make your vision happen.
When you feel stuck, it’s the sign that you need to change something. Sometimes you just need to change your perspective to shift in perception. Sometimes you need to do more personal work and healing to get unstuck. But let’s start somewhere, let’s simplify and make it significant. When you need to make a change happen in your life, I can tell you that creativity is an amazing way to do so: to create something you need to connect to your intuition and focus all your energy on this thing you want to make real. At the source of any creation there is a vision. The fact you focus all your energy in the creative process makes you let go all the things you can’t control. You surrender. This is where magic happens. When you put yourself in action, you start to create a dynamic. You flow. Your mindset is focused and you make progress during your creative process. The best is to share what you have created with other people. You can use social networks for this. I’ve started to craft the website of L’Eclectique from nothing and having no IT skills. I was mourning the loss of my younger brother and at some point I needed to start doing things that make me feel good. I’ve learnt a lot of things during the creative process ofit and I’m always learning new things. Writing my first novel has helped me also to heal. When I write I heal. You should really consider the benefits of art therapy and the creativity in your life. You don’t need to live very painful experiences to do so. Include creativity in your lifestyle to create some newness and flow with the change when you need it. A lot of people do a 365 days project to change their life but you can start with a 30 days creative project. (So many people share their project on instagram) It’s a good way to challenge yourself.
I love you creative people because creative living is a path for the brave souls. It’s amazing to take action and make your vision real, to make a change happen, to put yourself out there. If you need vibrant inspiration, don’t forget to visit L’Eclectique, the place to be for creative people.
See you here next Thursday!
