“It’s important to make a habit of evaluating your own beliefs about you. It doesn’t matter what people say about you? What do you say about you?
Self-awareness, positivity and optimism are a huge variable to your success and a healthy lifestyle. Change the narrative of your story. You become what you believe.” The Most Precious Love
This quote is one of the 33 perspectives I share in my last book “The Most Precious Love”. From my personal experience and working as an empowerment coach, I’ve noticed that when people desire to see a change in their life because they feel unhappy or stuck, they often don’t know what kind of change they want to make happen. From here, I’d like to talk about this great notion “self-awareness”, the capacity to know who you are, what you want and what you don’t want – it’s a prerequisite for your fulfillment. It all starts with you to make a change happen and if you’re not aware of your deep desires, abilities or what you need to improve and learn, no one can know better than you. When you know who you are, you leave no room to be defined by someone else. This is the growth process of a lifetime and even if your desires can also evolve with the time, knowing yourself is the absolute starting point. If you have no idea, you could maybe start to make some soul searching. For this I would highly recommend for you to spend some time alone where you just write what you feel, your thoughts. I also highly recommend all creative and art activities to express yourself and speak your truth and see what calls your intention more than anything else. You don’t need to be a professional artist to be creative; colouring mandalas for instance is a creative activity that heal and still the mind. Reading books is also a good way to improve your self-awareness-depending on what you like to read. But I believe reading is always a bright way to shift your perspective. This last decade, I’ve been reading so many books on personal development and self-help hence my keen interest for it, and it has allowed me to raise my awareness on so many patterns I had to work with. Now, I am starting to write books in my own way to help people shift & make their change happen.
Those are only some ways you can use to raise your awareness about your truth. Spending some time in Nature, travel during a while to break patterns and go out of your comfort zone is also a powerful way to evaluate what you really like and what you don’t. What matters is you get to know what makes you feel alive, what comes easy to you, what is this thing you could do forgetting about the time or always doing without being paid. Remember you don’t need to like one thing or to have a passion. I’m a multi-passions person and my passions all feed my soul and connect together. If you ever don’t feel you have a passion, a focus. Ask yourself what makes you curious? What is this thing that gives you high vibes when you do it? Ultimately, let yourself be driven by your intuitive curiosity, it will surely lead you to who you are. I like to say that curiosity is my frequency – I ‘m a very curious person and I revere this quality in people. Like I also say that authenticity is my frequency. It is! Being self-aware gives you the possibility to be authentic and fulfil your desires, your soul, and your purpose. Being self-aware gives you the power to shift your perspective, to change your thoughts, to change the narrative of your story. Ask yourself: What do you want? Who do you want to be? What do you want your life to be? And do you want it HARD?
I challenge you then to do everything you can to get there! If you don’t know, do everything to figure it out asap! Find your lane, if you don’t find it create it and OWN it! Because you become what you believe! Work with this powerful mindset, it makes all the difference. I’d love to read your comments about your personal way to reflect on your truth and how you’re doing in this process of getting more self-aware. See you next Thursday dear Souls.
